Operating as a major global multinational pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation with global sites worldwide, our client is well known for its growth and innovation and is an Australian iconic brand in the marketplace, offering a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.
Due to increased growth, our client is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its major plant operations to act a conduit between project engineering & production.
About the Opportunity
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Actively liaise with contractors & service providers to ensure equipment is operational and compliant.
- Provide maintenance & engineering solutions to improve plant & equipment availability & reliability.
- Work with Project Engineers to understand project requirements.
- Identify & develop solutions to engineering problems related to new equipment.
- Prepare maintenance plans including preventative maintenance and spare parts assessments.
- Effectively liaise with Vendors, internal & external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in projects/maintenance within manufacturing.
- Sound industry experience in pharmaceutical, food, FMCG with an understanding of GMP & regulatory requirements.
- Sound technical, problem solving & planning skills.
- Sound SAP Skills.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
This is an Excellent Contract Opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading multi national FMCG pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation to further develop their skills and experience within an engineering environment.
This is a Long Term contract position requiring an Immediate Start.
