Operating as a major global multinational pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation with global sites worldwide, our client is well known for its growth and innovation and is an Australian iconic brand in the marketplace, offering a range of healthcare products to local & global markets.

Due to increased growth, our client is now seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its major plant operations to act a conduit between project engineering & production.  

About the Opportunity
  
Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Actively liaise with contractors & service providers to ensure  equipment is operational and compliant.
  • Provide maintenance & engineering solutions to improve plant & equipment availability & reliability.
  • Work with Project Engineers to understand project requirements. 
  • Identify & develop solutions to engineering problems related to new equipment.
  • Prepare maintenance plans including preventative maintenance and spare parts assessments. 
  • Effectively liaise with Vendors, internal & external stakeholders. 
About You
  
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:  
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical)
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in projects/maintenance within manufacturing.
  • Sound industry experience in pharmaceutical, food, FMCG with an understanding of GMP & regulatory requirements.
  • Sound technical, problem solving & planning skills.
  • Sound SAP Skills.   
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.

This is a Long Term contract position requiring an Immediate Start.
