About the Opportunity
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Perform QC sterility testing in the microbiology department.
- Prepare for general assay testing.
- Maintain testing records & perform data entry using LIMS.
- Assist with investigation of out of specification results (OOS) test results, invalid assays.
- Ensure equipment & facilities are prepared in accordance with approved procedures.
- General laboratory housekeeping & maintaining stock in the laboratory.
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Science (Microbiology).
- Knowledge or experience working with Microbiology Test Methods.
- Scientific report writing skills with some GxP experience.
- Sound experience within the pharmaceutical/food/FMCG experience.
- Sound communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work alone or with a small team.
