Keytone Dairy unveils manufacturing plant in Melbourne

Keytone Dairy Corporation has completed the integration of Omniblend’s two powder manufacturing facilities into
one large-scale nutritional powder factory site in Melbourne.

The facility now has eight packing rooms and a new in-house product development laboratory with highly automated plant, a multi-room blending and warehousing facility and Australia’s first PET bottling UHT plant. The packing rooms include a dairy-free and gluten-free room to meet the demand from clients.

The company, which works with Bellamy’s Organic, Carman’s Fine Foods, Optislim and Aldi, said it can now further advancements in product development and manufacturing capability.

“The completion of the integration of the Melbourne powder facilities, well ahead of schedule, in addition to the New Zealand regulatory approvals for the second facility there in the last days, places Keytone Dairy in an enviable position for 2020 and beyond,” Keytone Dairy’s CEO, Danny Rotman, said.

“The Company is now exceptionally well placed to scale its proprietary product offering… and continue to grow with our clients in the development and manufacture of third party products.”

The facility has Dairy Food Safety Victoria and CNCA registration (Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China) which allows the export of its nutritional powder products to China, where it supplies retail giant Walmart for its subsidiary Sam’s Club China.
