About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support pharmaceutical production operations and play a crucial role in the manufacturing production of products in compliant to GMP standards.

Reporting to the Production Manager, key duties include:
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform production activities including solution preparations, plant & equipment cleaning, sterilisation, monitoring of cultures in small & large bioreactors.
  • Assist with batch processing, filling and packaging activities.
  • Prepare GMP documentation, performing commissioning, qualification & validation tasks.
  • Provide technical assistance & troubleshooting for in process fermentation & manufacturing issues.
  • Meet quality & GMP requirements ensuring all processes are completed & maintained to acceptable standards.
About You
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Microbiological Science, Engineering etc.
  • Large scale manufacturing experience in a GMP aseptic environment.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or food manufacturing.
  • Downstream processing, fermentation and formulation experience.
  • Equipment experience with bioreactors highly desirable.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
